Competition

When going to competition the team gets divided into different roles. Before the competition:

• Team manager - Is responsible for signing up for the competition, filling out documents and keeping deadlines.
• Driver - Is responsible for getting some hours behind the wheel (the driver must have a least 2 hours to compete)
• Packing team car and tools - Some should be in charge of packing all the stuff that could be need.
• Packing team camping - again some should be in charge of tents, food etc.
• Pit boss - Should prepare the t-minus and get a feel for the different aspects. Make a schedule (there is an example from this year)
• Communicator - The one person talking with the drive in each race, the driver and speaker should train early and getting used to communicating with each other, what information the driver want and when.
  

At the competition:

• Team manager - Team manager meetings with shell, making sure everyone is doing there job (yelling at people :) )
• Driver - Walk the track and driving
• Pit boss - Before each drive the car should go through a rutine check in the paddocks, its the pit boss job to make sure it goes as planned (yelling at people :) )
• Communicator - The one person talking with the drive in each race, will be looking at the track and talk the driver through the race.
• Timer - When racing 2-3 people should be timing the car so the communicator have data to feed the driver.

Rules for the race

READ ALL THE RULES!!! trust me we though we read them all and when it came to the safety check we did not make through the first time as we missed some rules.

Pit boss

Som pit boss er det dit job at sørger for at bilen bliver klar gjort før hver race. Der er en liste af ting der skal gøres før bilen kan kører optimalt på banen. Som pit boss, skal du sørger for alle gøre deres opgave, på det rigtige tidspunkt, og at alt bliver gjort. Din første prioritet er at holde et overblik så alt bliver gjort, det er bedre at sætte nogle andre til at klare en opgave end at du prøver at gøre det og mister fokus.

I 2022 printede jeg listen ud og lamineret den, så jeg kunne strege opgaver af hver gang en var udført, jeg lavede også en color code så det var nemt at se hvem der havde hvilke opgaver.

Jeg forslår at du kopiere skemaet, gennem går det og justere det så det passer til jeres hold. [Excel ark med skema, se ark 2 angående T-minus]
